In the Canadian capital of Ottawa, an armed raid was committed against the employees of the office of the Canadian Bitcoin cryptocurrency exchange. The police prevented the encroachment and detained one of the attackers right at the time of the crime. Two intruders managed to escape. They are wanted.
According to CBC News, on Tuesday morning three armed with pistols a man entered the office of Canadian Bitcoin, and captured four employees of crypto-exchange. Attackers tried to force one of the employees to withdraw funds from the exchange. The fifth employee managed to call the police, preventing a forced transaction.
According to the police, one suspect was arrested. He was charged with robbery using firearms and capturing people.
The names of the attackers are not reported.
